Back of the book Questions - NEC Chapters 5, 6, 7, 8
Many electricians rarely venture into the last 4 chapters of the National
Electrical Code. As a result, during any examination, these questions are more
difficult to answer. In an effort to improve the ability of electricians to
answer these question types, my students have generated five hundred questions
from these four chapters to be used as practice questions. There is duplication.
Over time, these practice questions will be improved and extended.
The question distribution as taken from their website for Thompson Prometric
can be found HERE.
Typing of all these questions and answers will take some time. But
eventually they will be done.
The best study technique for these questions is to read first all articles
in Chapters 5, 6, 7, and 8. That will take some time. Yet it is the best first
step. Then, after having read through each article, these questions can be used
as a test of ability to find references in the NEC.
Since 25% of an exam score can come from these four chapters, the time spend
should be proportional to other aspects of exam preparation. So one out of every four hours
of study time should be directed to these four chapters.
