Voltage Drop Percentages

Voltage Drop Percentages Check Values

Find formulas in Reference Formulas Appendix page 40.

Find practice problems HERE.

Vdt = 10 volts

Vdf = 2 volts

Vdbc = 8 volts

Es = 240 volts

Ebp = 238 volts

El = 230 volts

%Vdt = 4.16 volts

%Vdf = .83 volts

%Vdbc = 3.33 volts

Note when using these formulas, enter %Vdt % Vdf %Vdbc as a decimal.

So 4.16% becomes .0416, .83% becomes .0083, and 3.33% becomes .0333.

Use your % key on the calculator to move the decimal two places to the right. Neat, eh?
