These ohms watts formulas work for all circuits because power factor has
been included in the formulas. If the circuit you are making calculations for is
DC or AC resistive, then there are more basic formulas which can be uses. Click

mind that if the AC circuit you are working on is purely resistive, then pf will
be 1.0 and can be left out of the calculation.
